Yes we use the ESP32S3 Chip in the ADL-1 OTP Printers.
No, it does not compromise security. We NEVER enable the Bluetooth transceiver on the chip and we never will. And, just in case…. there is no data stored on the device, ever! Even it it were somehow turned on (would require a firmware update) and compromised, at most and attacker could see the last OTP printed, which it’s self is erased once the print timeout expires or a new pad is generated and is totally gone once the device is turned off.
