Description
This heat sink for the Elecraft KX3 is designed to offer the user lengthened TX sessions with a drastically more efficient design. The body is CNC machined from lightweight 6061 aluminum, tumbled to remove all sharp edges and finished with a Mil Spec Type III hard coat anodized finish.
This finish is about .0015″ thick so, it’s thin enough to not inhibit heat transfer and dissipation and yet very durable to provide long lasting protection. No new hardware is required as it uses the hardware from the factory heat sink. Each KX3 Heat Sink comes with 1 packet of thermal transfer past and installation instructions.
